Now, we're building a state-of-the-art school for footpath students. Join us.
Sarvodaya Group Trust – Footpath School believes that every child deserves access to education, dignity, and opportunity. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea — if children cannot reach school because of poverty, displacement, or difficult living conditions, then school must reach them.
What started with a small footpath classroom has grown into a mission that brings learning, care, and hope to children who are often left behind. Today we serve hundreds of children across Ahmedabad and beyond.
Behind every classroom is a quieter kind of work: helping families get the Aadhaar card, ration card or income certificate that unlocks a scholarship, a subsidy, or a bank account.
See how our Grahak Seva desk has helped over 5,670+ families claim what's rightfully theirs.

Write to Us →My child used to spend the whole day on the streets. Now he looks forward to going to class every day. He has started reading and writing, and I can see the change in his behaviour and confidence.
Earlier my daughter used to sit at home and help me with work. Now she goes to class every day and has started reading small words. She feels happy and confident.
Spending time at Footpath School has been one of the most meaningful experiences for me. These children's eagerness to learn is truly inspiring. Even a few hours of our time can be so powerful.
I have supported many causes, but Footpath School stands out because of the direct impact they create. You can actually see the change in children's confidence and learning.
We feel proud seeing our children learning. Even if we could not study, now our children are getting that opportunity. It means the world to us.
